Ireland’s Fionnuala Britton finishes second in Edinburgh

Fionnuala Britton finished second behind Emilia Gorecka in the Senior Women’s Cross Country event at Holyrood, Edinburgh today. Britton led the race with reigning European champion Gemma Steele for the first 4 km of the 6 km race. Fionnuala Britton finishes sixth as Irish women take European bronze medal The Irish women’s team took bronze at the European Cross Country championships in Samokov, Bulgaria.
