Breaking News

Ireland’s Fittest Family is back for a fifth series.

Irish Olympic hurdler, Derval O’Rourke, is to return to the coaching panel after a two year break. Derval previously appeared in Series 2 of the show in which she coached the Kingstons from Co. Cork to victory.

I’m really excited to be coming back to Ireland’s Fittest Family. The last time I was on the show I came first and second so there’s a lot pressure on me to come back and do well. I want to win.”

She joins veteran IFF coach, hurling legend, Davy Fitz, who has appeared in all five series of the show and last year’s winning coach and fellow Corkonian, camogie star, Anna Geary.

This marks the first time ever that two female sportspeople have ever been on the coaching panel of the show.

The identity of the fourth coach will be revealed at a later date.
