The Magees keep the Irish Flag flying in Denmark

After winning their match Thursday evening Chloe and Sam Magee secure their place in the quarter finals of the European Championships and now have a chance to clinch Ireland’s first ever medal in this event. They beat the French pair of Bastian Kersaudy and Lea Palermo in three nervy games 19-21 21-16 21-15.

They will be coming up against former European gold meallists Robert Mateusiak and Nadiezda Zieba from Poland. The match will be at about 16:30 Irish time.
