Magees lose out at All England Badminton Championship

Sam and Chloe Magee, after promotion to the main draw of the All England’s Badminton Championship 2017 this week, lost out narrowly to the World Number 12 Lee Chun Hei Reginald & Chau Hoi Wah. The match was three games long with a monster 84 shot rally in the third which was possibly the best rally of the day shared widely across social media. The final scores were 21-16 16-21 15-21. Just two years ago, the Hong Kong pair became the first mixed doubles pair from Hong Kong to win a World Badminton Super Series title in Australia. The next tournament for the Magees is the Swiss Open from the 14th-19th March.
